Marshmallow Root Tincture

Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis) is a traditional European herbal remedy that has been used for centuries. The root is especially valued by herbalists for its naturally occurring mucilage, a slippery substance that develops when the root is mixed with water. Traditionally, marshmallow root has been used to soothe the throat, ease occasional digestive discomfort, and support the body's natural moisture and comfort.

Marshmallow root is also a well-known herb in traditional preparations for the throat and stomach, making it a useful addition to the home herbal apothecary. Our Marshmallow Root Tincture provides this time-honored herb in a convenient 1-ounce liquid extract for those who appreciate traditional plant-based remedies.
