Welcome to Meadow View Farmstead! We are David and Vanessa, passionate about DIY projects, homesteading and herbal remedies. With over 20 years of experience, we have become pretty handy at raising children, dogs, chickens and ducks while handcrafting our own herbal remedies, home cleaning supplies and personal care products.

Our journey here began as an idea that first sparked for Vanessa back in the mid-1990s and has grown through watching loved ones suffer from unexplained autoimmune diseases, the big C and other ailments.

As an herbalist, Vanessa has dedicated almost 30 years to learning about herbs and herbal remedies. She has taken multiple courses in the practice of herbalism and continues to study and learn on a regular basis. After receiving her master herbalist certificate, from Rosemary Gladstar's The Science and Art of Herbalism, she realized that creating handcrafted herbal products was the route she wanted to take to share the wonders of nature with others.

As a contractor, heavy equipment operator, carpenter, truck driver and overall jack of all trades, David knew the benefits of the herbs from first hand experience, so he jumped on board to create displays and containers for events, garden boxes for all the herbs, chicken coops for pest control and compost for soil. In addition to all that, he's learning more about herbs himself and he's always willing to lend a hand with packaging and shipping, driving to events and marketing.

Meadow View Farmstead is driven by our desire to share the healing power of nature with others. We truly believe in the natural healing properties of herbs because we've seen it work first hand...on ourselves, friends, family and even our pets! 

Our products are carefully crafted in small batches using the highest quality ingredients. We take pride in ensuring that each product we offer is made with the same care and attention to detail that we would use for ourselves and our own family.
